Dear Apartments,
I am sorry for the way I left my apartment. I did not hire enough help nor did I have enough stamina and vigor to do this move as I have had in the past. I know the apartment is messy and on top of my hast to make it out of the apartment on time, I forget to retrieve all my food (which wasn’t much.) Please have pity on me, this moving weekend has been a whirl of emotions and action. My boyfriend had to go to the ER which prolonged our move greatly. The emotions of him being in the ER took a toll on me physically and emotionally and therefore took a toll on a proper move-out.
I am sorry, please bill.
For my readers, some moving tips that I didn’t use:
Start Early – I am a procrastinator when it comes to moving and like that rush of doing things fast ( that leave no room for error or the ER)
Date it – Put on a calendar what room is going to be packed on which day
Rent your truck ahead of time – We almost didn’t get a truck. It was spring and last weekend of the month. Luckily we did.
Pack a Suitcase – From near move out date to 3 days after move. So you have everything you need to function when everything is packed.
